Monte Veronese Vecchio Dop

Descrizione

It is a DOP cheese, typical of the Veneto region, in the northern part of the province of Verona, which roughly corresponds to Lessinia, Mount Baldo and the Veronese pre-Alpine hills. It is a semi-cooked, compact table cheese, with small eyes, slightly straw-colored, made from semi-skimmed cow’s milk. The flavour is intense and slightly spicy, ideal to be grated and used to enrich risottos or on pasta.
