Monte Veronese Mezzano Dop

Descrizione

It is a DOP cheese, typical of the Veneto region, in the northern part of the province of Verona, which roughly corresponds to Lessinia, Mount Baldo and the Veronese pre-Alpine hills. This semi-cooked and compact table cheese, with small holes, slightly straw-colored, is made with semi-skimmed cow’s milk of one or two consecutive milkings. It has a fragrant, pleasant flavour, suitable for creating very tasty recipes, for gratinating vegetables, in flakes with polenta.
